Media Streaming - Basics

As media streaming over the Internet continues to expand and innovation as well as standardization in this area keep evolving, it is important to understand the basic technologies of media streaming. In this course, we will cover the fundamentals of Audio/Video Encoding, concepts and formats related to Adaptive-bitrate Streaming (ABR), Digital Rights Management (DRM), related tools and video player technologies.

This introductory course is aimed at a wide audience and provides hands-on experience related to media streaming. Whether SMEs, industry, developers, researchers or project managers interested in this technology, this course provides an insight into fundamentals, best practices and future technologies.
